Formerly known as "Nneka," New York-born and raised songwriter N.K. Morton has penned hit songs for some of the industry's top names, including the Backstreet Boys, Mya, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Faith Evans, among others. She has collaborated with a range of producers and songwriters, including Salaam Remi, Mario Winans, Free Smith, Clark Kent, Timmy Allen, and many others. She recently joined Stanley A. Brown to compose a song for the chart-topping new recording by T.D. Jakes entitled Finally Loosed.

As a performing artist, Nneka was signed to Island Records in the nineties and appeared on various projects under the PolyGram umbrella of labels. Her voice can be heard on projects by Chris Rock, Rakim, Diana Ross, the Isley Brothers, and many others. Morton has been working on new music with longtime collaborator and producer Alex Sterling, which will be released in the coming months.
